What is Rehabilitation?

After a major illness, an accident or a surgery, you may notice some reduction in your capability to perform your daily activities. An illness such as stroke, can be a life changing event- it may be a difficult experience not only to the patient, but to their family members as well.

Various factors may affect an individual’s functioning and disability such as personal and environmental factors.

Rehabilitation is a process that helps you to recover from such injury, taking into considerations the above factors. It provides the care, therapies and support that you need to enable you to achieve your maximum independence level.
